In collaboration with the museum team, GfG designed the new permanent exhibition at Oldenburg City Museum. Across two floors and 800 sqm, around 350 objects are staged in dialogue with spatial interventions, large-scale graphics, media stations and interactive formats. Scenographic settings, participatory elements and spaces for pause and exchange create changing views of past and present. Intentional gaps invite visitors to contribute to the experience. The themes ‘What is a city?’, ‘Who shapes a city?’ and ‘Oldenburg is …’ form a walk-through dialogue space that continues to evolve alongside its visitors.
