Infinite Grove

Infinite Grove is a pop-up pavilion that transforms a single tree into an endless forest. Two curved mirrored-steel walls multiply the tree's image, while a circular opening frames the view and frosted panels diffuse sunlight into a soft mist. Drawing on the Chinese garden principles of framed views and borrowed scenery, it creates a quiet dialogue between self and nature. First presented at the 2026 Shanghai Flower Festival, its prefabricated, foundation-free system can be efficiently assembled, dismantled, transported, and reused with different trees across the city.
