Japanese aesthetic canons are from where we have started in this exercise of formal synthesis to create this design, simplifying the lines that make up the volumes of the product to give rise to a straightforward design, in which the form is strongly defined by the chair’s own function.

The raised seat brings lightness to the product and allows us to see its construction. The curvature of the backrest contrasts with the straight-lined seat. The seat top shares the same thickness as the legs, becoming strokes that draw the piece in an emphatic way. The upholstered version gives a warmer approach.
