Bloom Icon re-examines the idea of what a cabinet should be in a completely new way. The idea that a cabinet is a freestanding object, centrally positioned on one pole, is entirely unique. An unexpected composition of elements – a light base on which the body is placed – also contributes to a different experience of a cabinet. Cabinet doors open using a rotating mechanism developed specifically for this product. The doors open with slight movement, rotating around a central axis.
The Jury‘s Statement
Bloom Icon is a free-standing bar cabinet in the iconic shape of a drinking glass. The fact that the goblet is made of wood and is opened and closed using an elegant sliding mechanism adds to the exclusive impression.
