Hipos

Carved from solid stone. Loosely inspired by the idea of amphitheatres, without being tied to a historical style. The design exhibits pure architecture: a solid top, supported by a base that suggests a curved cut, as if it were a segment of excavated volume. It appears as an ‘encounter’ between the qualities of being filled and empty. It is a piece of furniture that embraces the versatility of material, with the ability to alternate which part is made of stone and which is made of wood.
