Details
The Suprematist Bureau offers a way to rethink the ideology of early 20th-century Russian avant-garde, inspired by Kazimir Malevich's Suprematist canvases. Its tectonic volume refers to the quest for "pure architecture" by the artist and his followers and to the creation of sculptural forms - "architectons". The multitude of hidden transformational forms within the chest resonates with Malevich's non-objective paintings: like this piece of furniture, they reveal themselves to every viewer from a new angle.
