DocolChu-á Shower Head

A new outdoor shower head concept called DocolChu-á, created by the architect Alan Chu, is a piece inspired by water games and showers with the garden hose, a symbol of everyone’s collective imagination. This game becomes a garden sculpture when it lands on the lawn like an unruly hose that ends with a delightful water stream. It's free, winding, and exaggerated shape conjures the unpredictable movements of a hose under water pressure. More than a functional element, the shower-hose stirs up affective memories, harkening back to a time of lighthearted fun and freedom.
