The Suro armchair by Christophe Delcourt blends the rigour of teak with the flexibility of woven rope. The fibre backrest, seemingly suspended from the seat, forms an embracing, cocoon-like flower petal that offers unique support thanks to its roundness. The design balances strength, refinement, and craftsmanship. Carefully shaped lines and precise material control, made possible by advanced manufacturing know-how, deliver exceptional comfort. “I shape furniture like sculptures. By reducing material, I refine it to its function,” says Delcourt. With its timeless design and high-quality materials, Suro is intended to last for generations.
