What is the tax money used and spent for? Budget plans that can provide explanations are difficult for most to understand. Bundeshaushalt.de makes it easy. In several UX workshops, we worked out what the users of the website really want: Clearly presented facts with easy-to-understand texts, playful visualisations in an interactive research tool, a freely editable data dashboard - and a dark mode. No sooner said than done.
