Pfaff goes dental, Karlsruhe-Durlach

The “Zahnzentrum Raumfabrik” in Karlsruhe-Durlach combines the heritage of the former PFAFF sewing machine factory with modern healthcare architecture. Exposed steel structures, historic coffered ceilings, and concrete floors preserve the industrial character. Wooden slats offer an abstract reinterpretation of sewing thread, whilst introducing warm accents. Freestanding functional cubes and colourful acoustic elements complete a refined concept that unites industrial charm with modern design.
