Details

Driven by a deep need to change spaces and stylishly fill them with harmony, security and sensuality, Constanze Ladner has been creating sophisticated, cosmopolitan room concepts and product designs with her interior design studio since 2018. Since 2020 she’s living with her husband in an old rectory in Mainz, which she transformed into a safe refuge in a very short time, guided by her extraordinary, intuitive sense and which now reflects her inner connection with the existing architecture and nature.

The Jury‘s Statement

The building, which dates back to 1967 and was used as a rectory, impresses after the renovation with its successful combination of old and new, which creates an inviting and harmonious living atmosphere. The transformation of the interior spaces through the targeted use of light and color gives the detached house a new vitality and underlines a well thought-out room concept. An extremely charming design that impresses above all with its captivating simplicity.
