Details
The former industrial site is being revitalized and repurposed as an exhibition space for selected businesses. The clear support and beam grids are exposed, existing installations are left visible, and the entire structure is dipped in a uniform dark colour. A new sculptural staircase connects the floors. Wooden elements form work areas in the flowing exhibition space - curtains create mobile, changeable spaces.
The Jury‘s Statement
The furnishings for the workstations, made of light wood, form an exciting contrast to the dark structure of the architecture. Details such as art objects and curtains separating different areas soften the purist furnishings. A well thought-out lighting concept creates an atmospheric ambience.
