Details

The project concerns the renovation of an apartment in Thessaloniki. The main point of the design was the creation of a large sunlit common space with curved forms in order to achieve a sense of fluidity that would make the owners feel cocooned and safe.
Radical changes had to be made in order to create an open plan in common spaces and keep private space more isolated.
A black “ribbon” of a skirting board runs along the apartment and highlights the overall design.
This contemporary residence includes all the principles of sustainable architecture that makes it self-sustained, using less energy with minimal costs.
