Details
The Gründerzeit house from 1900 was revitalized sustainably, with great sensitivity. 2 apartments (12 rooms) were completely gutted/renovated. Fundamental interventions in the statics, breakthroughs, merging, connection of basement and mezzanine were necessary, monument preservation of the highest importance. In 18 months of construction, THE STUDIO was completely rebuilt on 270 m2 in terms of thermal, acoustic, electrical & fire protection, and offers a holistic, contemporary loft atmosphere.
The Jury‘s Statement
Thanks to transparent glass walls, doors and airy structures, the sympathetic spaciousness of the loft-like rooms has been retained. The exclusive character is reinforced by consistently bright surfaces and exquisite furnishings with fine decorative details.
