Details
The apartment in Zlín makes the most of its 68 m2 by opening and lighting up the space. Thoughtfully designed built-in furniture offers ample storage space throughout the apartment. Upcycled bricks from demolished walls were used for wall cladding, which pays tribute to the iconic functionalist architecture of Zlín. A pull-out dining table and a sliding wall introduce space-saving modularity. Fusion between local art, design and architecture is the key feature of this project.
The Jury‘s Statement
The interior combines modern design with efficient use of the available space at a high formal and functional level. A nice idea is the wall made of recycled bricks, which gives the appearance of being part of the building architecture.
