Details
Ishi is a surface-mounted luminaire inspired by the shape of a river stone. The bottom diffuser is made of Brokisglass – a glass material produced from shards. The top diffuser is made of recycled Minus plastic from PlasticGuys. A metal frame holds everything together and ensures stability. Ishi is a manifesto of sustainable luxury. Its main strength lies in the ability to arrange individual pieces into endless compositions, similar to river stones forming a natural whole. The luminaire will be produced in two sizes, and the same metal frame will also be used to create a collection of mirrors.

The subtle material composition of »Ishi« captivates with a harmonious interplay of recycled glass and plastic. Particularly striking is the option to combine individual elements into layered lighting scenarios. The clear design language and coherent functionality give the object a timeless presence. The consistent integration of sustainable materials and flexible compositional possibilities stands out—an impactful statement for responsible lighting design at the highest level.
