Details
One ring is completed by the two people getting married themselves, sharing it between the wedding and engagement rings. They can participate in the creation of their own rings. The three rings leave 'traces' as proof of their connection, which become part of the design of the rings, and these 'traces' always remind the couple of the moment they shared the rings and strengthen the bond between them. Unlike wedding and engagement rings, which are just a form, we believe that the essential meaning of marriage is to establish a form of connection between two people as partners, and we have pursued a wedding ring design that symbolises this.
The Jury‘s Statement
The subtle concept of transforming a ring into three characterful pieces through a shared ritual makes »Tsunagaru Katachi (linked shapes)« an emotionally significant object. The visible traces that preserve the moment of connection lend the design an exceptionally authentic depth. The result is an elegantly crafted piece that unites symbolism, aesthetics, and lasting value at the highest level.
