Silphie-Papier

Through the bioeconomic cascade use of the energy crop Silphium perfoliatum, a new regional raw material is produced in addition to biogas: Silphie-fibers. Using a biothermal process, OutNature separates the plant fibers of the Silphium and thus receives high-quality, resource-saving natural fibers that are further processed, in combination with pulp, into »Silphie-paper«. The paper impresses with its good printing and processing properties as well as its unique natural look and feel.
