ALCOVE is a seating system conceived to support work in a 'desk-less' environment. The transformation of work environments requires innovative concepts of furniture. Starting from analysing patterns of individual and collaborative work, ALCOVE is designed to provide a private 'cocoon' of space, and updated in its ergonomic support. It is conceived for working without a desk, either individually - in an office or at home - or in a collaborative environment. Some variations are also optimized for waiting spaces, like hospital or hotel waiting areas.

The exceptional balance between seclusion and openness makes »Alcove« a powerful statement for contemporary work environments. Its distinctive, modular design enables flexible spaces and impresses with confident material selection and subtle elegance. Especially remarkable is the consistent focus on both individual and collaborative use. This project convincingly demonstrates how relevant and trendsetting excellent product design can be in the workplace.
