As a community shopping Centre, Zijing Paradise Walk presents a considered response to growing consumer priorities for culture and wellbeing. It takes cue from vernacular architecture to engage the local public in everyday living. We reinvent Hangzhou’s historical architectural style with simple and playful gestures, and nuanced usage of simple façade materials. Traditional aesthetics are reinterpreted with a modernised language, creating a quiet dialogue between man, nature and architecture.
