Located at the piazzale Flora in San Candido, Alto Adige, exceptional culinary products are the priority of the pop-up store in the centre of the historic village. Handmade pasta is crafted in the kitchen of the nearby Boutique Hotel Orso Grigio and prepared fresh and beautiful for the store every day. The storefront design was inspired by traditional drying procedures for pasta of the alpine region and delivers a most exceptional, dynamic and surprising visual experience.
The Jury‘s Statement
This pop up store design skilfully showcases handmade South Tyrolean pasta, freshly made daily for the shop at the nearby Boutique Hotel Orso Grigio. The design, inspired by the Alpine region, showcases the authenticity and quality of the food: wooden pins reminiscent of pasta hanging from the ceiling are both playful and dramatic in their effect, drawing attention and creating an inviting atmosphere. The combination of tradition and modernity offers an impressive visual as well as culinary experience.
