Wuxi Huafa Tennis Centre

»Wuxi Huafa Tennis Centre« masterplan integrates with planned residential and retail use creating a modern destination to live, work and play. The design includes a 5,000-seat Tennis arena, a 3,500-seat Taekwondo arena, indoor and outdoor tennis courts and a sunken plaza linking directly to the underground MRT station. Instead of under one mass, these different arenas are broken down as individual blocks merged into surrounding parklands such that the whole site is penetrable with flexible spaces and landscapes.
