Have you ever visited a barn? Probably. But have you ever visited a Barn that serves delicious dishes like Risotto, Oysters, and Cod Cheeks paired with robust Wines? Less likely. This blend of the familiar and the unexpected is the starting point for the interior design project of the restaurant La Grange by MA-Architecte. The firm aims to transform the barn’s rustic charm into an urban, sleek, and contemporary space where decor enhances the dining experience. This vision was realized through close collaboration with a private client who, in 2020, bought an old building in Old St-Jean-sur-Richelieu, seeking to create a unique restaurant.
