Description
Human beings come from nature, and only first became of aware of their surroundings through the very first elements that they came to know, land and water â elements upon which their survival depends. The majority of design features are inspired by nature and can be assigned to one of these two elements. From survival to design, humanity is inextricably bound with the incredible balance between elements.
Statement of the jury
The interior design of this cinema elegantly plays with visual opposites. Visitors entering the lobby first encounter a wave-like ceiling that evokes the ocean floor; and upon entering the theatre itself, the visitor sees a design consisting of black and white wall elements, as well as a mirror ceiling. A thrilling design that transports the visitor into a different world.
