Description

The concrete shape, with its precise geometry, emerges from the ground as a compact structure. The imposing force of the monolithic perimeter walls is revealed in their role as an envelope, providing continuity within the context. The shelter supported by a row of thin circular pillars, slightly inclined towards the outside, allows the creation of a walkway raised above the ground. The space that is created mediates the relationship between interior and exterior, defining the architectural image of the front.


Statement of the jury

An interesting design whose iconic design aesthetic sets up an exciting interplay between the interior and exterior – and that’s also palpable for visitors with all of the senses.
