Description

The project consists in redeveloping the second level of an elegant villa from the 80s, located in a residential complex between the sloping terraces of the hills of Catania, overlooking the sea. The works involve the second level of the building, which will undergo changes to the internal distribution of the spaces: a sleeping area is created between the previous rooms and joins, trough a glass corridor, with the living area contained in the new space.

Statement of the jury

The combination of natural stone, timber and glass evinces sophistication and quality, and the building harmonises beautifully with its surroundings.
