Dasa House

Description
DASA HOUSE This house is about balance and contrast. One side facing the town is rigid and dark. The other side facing nature is soft and bright. Dark metallic brick and black zinc were used for the town-facing façade. Bright limestone was used for the curved façade which faces the bamboo woods. The inner space bursts out from the entrance into living room. The volume of the space expands dramatically.
Statement of the jury
The concept of contrast and balance has been implemented in a transparent, high-quality and consistent manner throughout by the use of contrasting designs for each of the building’s sides. An interesting approach.
