Description

Pro Nemus Innovation Center is located next to the largest bioproduct mill in the Northern Hemisphere. It provides an experiential cross-section of the life cycle of a forest and the impact of the bio-economy, in a world that increasingly relies on responsible, renewable raw materials. The brand-new centre is designed as a stage for interactive digital experiences and constructed entirely out of ecological Finnish wood. It is a new way to learn about Metsä Group’s business, products and innovations.

Statement of the jury

A responsible approach to the world in which we live is becoming increasingly important. But for many, the sometimes complex interrelationships are unclear. With its excellent didactic content supported by contemporary interactive technology, the interesting exhibition manages to raise awareness regarding the topic of sustainability without overwhelming visitors.
