The ICHU

Description

The armchair was printed on a 3D printer. It is covered with an ultra-gloss black varnish. The drapery is made of deep blue velvet and removable lace, making it possible to change the armchair, if desired, to any other colour. The unusual forms, reminiscent of the scenery in a science fiction film, do not interfere with the functionality, reliability and convenience of each of the items presented.

Statement of the jury

The sculptural, 3-D-printed form of the armchair fascinates and lends the piece a space-age look, which is unmistakable. That the armchair, with its filigree structure, is actually usable is impressive.
