Da Zhu Yuan Village Planning and Farm Dwelling Design

Description

Da Zhu Yuan village is still filled with the architecture and lifestyle of north Zhe Jiang in ancient times, after all the years of destruction and reconstruction. Considering this, we kept the old growth pattern, environmental elements and production factors into our design. Besides, we make sure internal water systems are accessible for every farm dwelling. It brings a sense of belonging to the resident. »This is still the place I lived in my childhood«, one of our residents said.

The concept is a modern, contemporary architectural interpretation of the traditional design and developed structure of the region’s villages.
