Skatepark with landscape design
Description
New content as a generator of new leisure activities. The shape of the sports facility is designed according to the existing tree-fund and therefore the whole polygone is divided into two units â Plaza and Bowl. The clubhouse is placed between the skatepark and the new landscape design with benches and paths that follow the basic idea of placing a skatepark as a park in green. We blur boundaries between the green landscape and the new urban landscape using paving stones, which we artificially create.
Statement of the jury
With green surrounding it, the skatepark looks almost like a flat sculpture made out of concrete. A well executed design, intelligently and harmoniously combining nature, urban structures and leisure.
