Description

The project is a new campus project of Tianjin No. 4 Middle School with a construction area of 58,000 sqm. The campus space is combined with the main entrance of the waterway to define the north-south campus main axis, which is divided into two functional areas. Area A is mainly for teaching, and Area B is mainly for living and sports. The two districts are closely linked through the campus axis.

Statement of the jury

The cubic volumes stacked at right angles to each other allow light courtyards to arise. As a result, plenty of natural light can enter the rooms. Thanks to its sculptural character, the architecture simultaneously appears very light.
