Lledoner XXXII Concrete in the Old Town

Description
The main objective of the architectural intervention was to provide greater spatial amplitude inside the house. This involved eliminating the divisional excess, unifying rooms and not allowing under any circumstances the non-use of each and every corner of the house. The aesthetics of the project have been projected based on the construction elements and claddings, the new materials and interventions imitating the original elements of the house in its current state.
Statement of the jury
The design combines old pieces with modern architecture, while the lavish openness shows off the original architecture in a rather special way. An elegantly realised design that manages to use the space available in a very efficient way.
