Go-Chores

Description

Go-Chores is a visual target-activity tracker designed to enable effective communication for parents and children. Its main objective is to provide a visual tool for the child (by drawing themselves doing their target activity of choice), and while working towards that target provide a visual progress bar. The tokens of the system will be in the parent’s possession and will be granted as a sign of achievement for the child to insert and visually see the progress they are making towards the finish line.

Statement of the jury

Simple, absorbing and educational, the Go-Chores activity tracker is satisfyingly easy to use and features intuitive communication. Engaging children by including them in the design of visual stimuli that can easily be changed for new tasks is an excellent tool to support development.
