RITO is the Désirée armchair that skilfully combines opposites: the lightness and essentiality of the tubular metal structure and the softness and generosity of the padded seat. Statement of the jury

In the »Rita« chair designed by Matteo Thun & Antonio Rodriguez, the thick upholstery seems to float in the air thanks to the filigree round tube frame. In combination with the minimalist design language, however, the interplay looks wonderfully timeless and elegant.
