Behaglichkeit in zweiter Reihe - Familienleben mit grünem Rückgrat

Set back from Cologne’s busy streets and surrounded by mature greenery, the house offers a calm retreat for family life. Open spatial sequences, carefully framed views and a strong connection to the garden shape the living experience. At its centre, a sculptural staircase filled with daylight forms the heart of the home and connects all levels. Exposed concrete, steel and brick define a restrained material palette, balancing privacy and openness, warmth and robustness, clarity and atmosphere.
