Details
Designed for a couple in Brazil’s countryside, this residence combines contemporary design with environmental awareness. Two volumes, linked by a covered walkway, promote seamless indoor-outdoor flow. The social pavilion opens entirely to the landscape, maximizing natural light and ventilation. Solar energy systems and local materials reduce environmental impact. Authorial Brazilian furniture completes a warm, functional space deeply integrated with nature.
The Jury‘s Statement
An aesthetically powerful interplay between landscape and architecture defines »LGM HOUSE«: Two clearly structured volumes establish a harmonious dialogue between interior and exterior. Thoughtful material choices and traditional »muxarabi« elements create a comfortable indoor climate and reflect regional identity. Especially impressive is the consistent sustainability, seamlessly combined with charismatic design and outstanding spatial quality.
