Travertina

On a gentle slope above the lake, the building balances precise geometry with its topographical context. Stacked stories create a layered volumetry whose stratified tectonics interlock precisely with the terrain. The expansive hipped roof softens the verticality and forms a clear cap. Outside, Tuscan travertine, concrete, and wood create striking material contrasts. Indoors, this materiality continues seamlessly: Refined finishes and varying sheens translate the exterior expression into a cohesive spatial continuum of subtle chiaroscuro contrasts.
