Wohnüberbauung "am Bahnhöfli"

“Wohnen am Bahnhöfli” complements the ISOS-protected village of Ermensee with three precisely positioned timber buildings. Instead of making a grand gesture, the project quietly continues the local order of house, garden, courtyard and landscape. Hybrid construction and a naturalistic open-space concept combine architectural restraint with ecological responsibility. The project shows how contemporary housing can become a self-evident and lasting part of a sensitive historic setting.
