Details
The new building of the Department of Biosystems Science and Engineering Department of ETH Zurich acts as a visual landmark for the Schällemättel science campus. Located within a complex urban pattern, the polygon mediates between the surrounding university buildings. Framed by a light-flooded atrium, it creates a pedestrian connection between the street space and the campus. An ideal and flexible spatial concept was developed for the laboratory zones.
