Details
The CC House for a young family is located in an idyllic moorland just outside of Hamburg. The property stretches from a small path down to a picturesque pond. On the northwest side facing the road, the building appears modest with discreet punched windows, while it opens up generously on the sunny pond side with a large glass facade. An octagonal glass tower with an elegant spiral staircase connects the parents’ bel étage with the family floor. Rough-sawn oak and colorful built-ins add lively accents, creating an exciting contrast to the concrete.
The Jury‘s Statement
The single-family home impresses with its harmonious integration into the moorland, creating a deliberate simplicity through a clever combination of exposed concrete and rough-sawn oak. The full glass facade offers stunning views of the pond, while the octagonal glass tower enriches the vertical experience within.
