Details
The Saudi Arabia Ministry of Culture - Jax District Diriyah parking project is an innovative, five-level facility for 323 cars. It seamlessly integrates with the district's transformation from industrial to cultural hub. The design is inspired by pitched roof warehouses, honouring its industrial roots. Made of steel and adorned with rusted steel cladding, it offers a unique aesthetic from solid to perforated sheets based on air, light, and functional requirements.
The Jury‘s Statement
With its cladding of rust-red steel and striking pitched-roof architecture with transparent facade, the five-story steel structure makes reference to the region's industrial roots. An interesting project that combines parking garage and retail and promises a special shopping experience.
