Details
This project is located near Lake Teganuma in Abiko in Japan, where novelists used to live in villas. However, due to the land reclamation of Lake Teganuma, the topography has changed, and the area that would have had a panoramic view of Lake Teganuma has lost its remnants of those days. The goal is to rebuild the relationship between the progressing residential development and the fading local culture by expressing the roots of Lake Teganuma area as a design space and sharing it with residents.

The two-story houses built of wood present themselves in a timelessly elegant and high-quality architecture, which is also convincing in the interior and promises a pleasant living atmosphere.
