Details

The design for the renovation of the Göttingen Town Hall is by SSP AG and soll sasse architekten BDA. The highlight is the façade. The tiles with five colours and combined reliefs are saved from the existing building and supplemented by tiles. This creates a harmonious effect from a distance and a lively play of colours up close. Historic elements are reused, giving the building, which was previously known as the “swimming pool”, a modern reinterpretation. Interior spaces such as the foyer and the multipurpose hall will be designed more flexibly and optimized in terms of energy efficiency and comfort.
