Details
Parts of the Schlossbrauhaus need to be redesigned or expanded. The overall measure consists of three components. It includes the renovation of the entrance area with reception and tourist information, an independent barbecue station, as well as a bakery and a bicycle store. The adaptations of the 3 components create the situation of a three-sided courtyard with a directed view to the royal castles and the mountains.
The Jury‘s Statement
With the modern interpretation of traditional wooden architecture, the ensemble of the tourist facility Schlossbrauhaus fits harmoniously into the mountain landscape. A good idea are the wooden supporting pillars rhythmically placed around the buildings, which support the roof overhang and at the same time visually connect the individual buildings into a coherent ensemble.
