Details
Made almost entirely of wood, the house is characterized by its deliberately minimalist, modern architecture and sustainability. Thanks to the building's geometry and vertical wood façade, it appears to merge with the landscape. Large, movable glass fronts, which are hardly noticeable, blur the boundary between the interior and exterior. Renewable energy was used for the building technology, and the exceptional ventilation concept is consistently low-tech. Photo credit: Peter Kuczia.
