Details
The chapel is located at a fork in the road near Oberthürheim and is part of the "Seven Chapels" project on a newly created network of cycle paths. The desire for simplicity led to the archetype "house". By combining the wayside cross, chestnut tree and chapel house into a scenic ensemble, a place of tranquility is created. The block construction method, in which the supporting structure and shell form a single unit, is the epitome of original building. Inside, 150 colored glasses bathe the chapel room in a deep blue light during the day, which is penetrated by a golden-yellow cross in the west-facing gable wall.
