Verhüllungen / Coverings

They do not hide, but they hide everything! Beautiful and gruesome! Undesigned and unpretentious they are a social, cultural & architectural component in the public space. Obeying only their function, they cover, enclose & protect everyday things & are everyday things. They are social sculptures! They are art without artists! They are temporary architecture without names! They are always true!
All the coverings shown in the book have this claim, none is more existent.
