The unique industrial prefabrication process employed by Deutsche Hausmanufaktur at the Space Factory sets a new standard in modular construction. The quality far surpasses the capabilities of conventional building methods. This is due to the patented "bell-casting" process, in which five of the six sides enclosing the room are cast as a single unit, free of joints and structural weak points. Subsequent interior fit-out is carried out in the factory, up to 90% complete, protected from the elements. This drastically shortens the overall construction phase, ensures exceptional sustainability, and enables unique design possibilities.
