Details
A conceptual, inner space landscape of emphysemic alveoli, highlighting collapsed bronchioles and damaged alveolar air sacs. The inner walls of the alveoli air sacs rupture and create enlarged air sacs, resulting in inefficient oxygen exchange and diminished respiration. Temple Health Lung Center is a national leader in diagnosing and treating lung disease. A conceptual illustration of emphysemic changes in alveoli was desired for marketing purposes to both patients and the medical community.

The CGI illustration created for the cover of a medical print and online magazine shows a conceptual interior landscape of emphysematous alveoli and fascinates with spatial depth, high detail and an aesthetic colour scheme.
